One of the creators of the series “Friends” believes that the project has too many white actors.

It’s hard to believe, but Friends was released almost 30 years ago. The history of the relationship of six friends – Rachel, Rosa, Monica, Phoebe, Joey and Chandler – fell in love with millions of viewers in a swoop.

Even after decades of interest in the show has not diminished. However, over the years, some authors have more complaints than admiration for the project.

According to screenwriter Martha Kauffman, she regrets that in the cast of “Friends” there are only white main characters.

“Admitting and accepting guilt is not easy. It’s hard to look at yourself in the mirror, ”the Los Angeles Times quotes a co-author .

Kauffman has previously stated that she is ashamed of her decision to populate two famous New York apartments with exclusively fair-skinned characters. But history does not let go of the creator.

She even donated four million dollars to Boston University. The money went to improve the African and African American Chairs.
