Elizabeth II was not able to personally attend the concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of her reign, but pleased the fans with a funny gift.

Before the public and members of the royal family began to entertain famous musicians, the Queen met the legendary Paddington Bear.

A funny video has appeared on the official YouTube channel of the royal family, The Royal Family , in which Elizabeth II and Paddington drink tea.

“Perhaps you would like a marmalade sandwich? I always keep one in case of an emergency,” says the bear cub and pulls out a sandwich from his red hat.

The queen has a worthy answer.

“Me too. I keep mine here, ”Elizabeth II takes out the same sandwich with a smile from her purse.

The Queen is informed about the beginning of the celebration, and Paddington congratulates Her Majesty on her anniversary and thanks for everything.
