Tony Sirico, best known for his role as Paulie Galtieri in The Sopranos, has died at the age of 80. His project colleague called the actor irreplaceable and said that he would never be forgotten.

“It is with great sadness, but with incredible pride, love and many fond memories, that the family of Gennaro Anthony “Tony” Sirico wishes to inform you of his death on the morning of July 8, 2022,” his loved ones announced on social media.

The star’s manager, Bob McGowan, in a comment to People noted that Sirico has actively supported charities. And the actor, according to him, is a veteran and helped the wounded soldiers.

“Tony was like no other: he was so strong, so loyal and so generous like no one else I have ever known. I went through a lot with him, both good and bad. But mostly good,” wrote his colleague in the series “The Sopranos” Michael Imperioli in social networks.
