Actor and director Andy Serkis announced the start of work on a new series. This time, the plot will be centered on a French artist, the echoes of whose work are heard to this day.

The artist who played the role of Gollum in The Lord of the Rings will dedicate the painting to the creator of the wax museum, Marie Tussauds, which will be called Madame! Serkis plans to make a mini-series about the work of the famous woman sculptor during the Enlightenment and the French Revolution, about her escape to England and the creation of a museum in London in 1835.

It is not yet known who will get the role of Tussauds. The only thing the director said was that it would be a “crazy, merciless, anarchic punk stunt”. It is known that in parallel, Serkis is working on the third part of “Venom” and the animated version of “Animal Farm”, told Variety .
